| I just happened upon the site and I read the headlining article. I respect what he had to say. My wife is Native and I love her dearly. I have learned a great deal from her by observing how she carries herself. People treat her differently, poorly, because she is Native. Sometimes even by her own. It makes my heart break. It makes me sad. I am sad, and I admire those who are able to stand up and claim their voice and speak to people who need a word. A word of hope, a word of encouragement, even a word of discipline. A father disciplines his child because he loves him. I don't know. We all just need to help each other out. I guess what i mean to say is thank you for being a positive Native Voice. |

| The National Academy of Recording Artist and Science (NARAS), also known as the GRAMMYS welcomes a new voting member, Nino Reyos, a Native American from the Pueblo and Ute nations. Nino currently resides in Salt Lake City,Utah . The Recording Academy's San Francisco Chapter was the seventh chapter to open in it?s 48 year Academy history, it boasts more than 1,000 members spread throughout Northern California, Northern Nevada, Colorado and Utah. It is the birthplace of such legends as Sly & The Family Stone, Jefferson Airplane, Santana and the Grateful Dead, and home to GRAMMY Award winners Carlos Santana, Michael Tilson Thomas and the San Francisco Symphony, Kronos Quartet, Narada Michael Walden, Tom Waits and Metallica. The Academy has 12 regional chapters throughout the country. Chapter offices represent the Academy on a local level by working within that region's music and recording communities and addressing its needs through education, advocacy, professional development and events. | Government Arts & science college was started in 1964. A span of 39 years is sufficient to prove the merit of an institution. This college has 12 under graduate courses, 5 post graduate courses and 1 research centre. 1560 students, 80 teachers, 43 non teaching members strive to compete with modem trends in the field of education. This college was started only with 2 batches of pre - degree courses and 2 halls as its space.
